Mekelle resident gives birth to son at 76

Mrs. Medhin Hagos, a resident of Mekelle, has given birth to a son at the age of 76. 

 

Ms. Medhin has never given birth before and this is her first child, ABC News has learned from her family. 

 

Her son's Christian conversion was also confirmed. 

 

ABC News' efforts to contact the author were unsuccessful, but Ms. Medhin was able to confirm from her family that she is the mother of a son. 

 

Ms. Medhin Hagos's birth at 76 is the subject of much discussion on social media.
