Ambassador Bacha Debele meets with Kenyan President William Ruto

 

Addis Ababa, February 10, 2025: Ethiopian Ambassador to Kenya Bacha Debele met with Kenyan President William Ruto.

 

Ambassador Bacha participated in the annual Diplomatic Briefing Forum organized in Nairobi and attended by President William Ruto.

 

Ambassador Bacha met with President Ruto on the sidelines of the briefing, according to the embassy.

 

President Ruto, in his briefing to diplomats based in Nairobi, said that Kenya has undertaken many activities to strengthen regional ties and address security challenges in East Africa.

 

The President, who stated that bringing about regional prosperity is part of Kenya's diplomacy, affirmed that Kenya will continue to work collaboratively with East African countries, including Ethiopia, on regional issues.
