"The first days of the 38th African Union Summit were a day of discussions with various leaders on key strategic, political and development priorities.
We reaffirmed our commitment to strengthening our partnership with Equatorial Guinean President Theodore Obiang Nguema Mbambo, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa and Botswanan President Duma Boko Haram.
We also discussed further our joint efforts to accelerate Africa's growth with Rwandan President Paul Kagame and Tanzanian President Samia Suluh Hassan.
Beyond governments, we discussed strengthening the agricultural sector with Global Fund Executive Director Peter Sands and CAROAVI's Chief Executive Sania Nishtar.
We also discussed Ethiopia's agricultural sector with African Development Bank President Akinwumi Adesina and IFAD's Alvaro Lario. We discussed issues that will enhance our development.
We also discussed with Aliko Dangote and Tony Elumelu from the business community the role of the private sector in driving Africa's development.
Let us build on these discussions to achieve shared prosperity."
