Astronauts send Christmas greetings from space

The NASA astronauts who traveled to space six months ago sent a message of greetings from the International Space Station for the French Christmas, which is being celebrated today.

In their message, the astronauts said that they are preparing for Christmas at their workplace, the International Space Station.  

They also said that they are happy that they are spending good time as a family with the crew of the space station. 

Sanita Williams, who said there are seven employees at the station, said in a video message that they are all celebrating their favorite Christmas as a family. 

She explained that Christmas is a special event where everyone comes together, and she and her colleagues are preparing to bring that spirit. 

To make the day fun, she announced that they are preparing a few things that will bring the atmosphere of the festival.  

Nick Haag, one of the astronauts, said; He mentioned that Christmas is a holiday to spend quality time with friends, family and acquaintances, but this year he is celebrating by orbiting away from his family and friends. 

He mentioned that they are not the only ones who spend the holidays away from their families, a large group of supporters around the world are also celebrating the occasion. 

According to the NASA report, he expressed his respect for the sacrifices made by those who spend the holidays away from their families. 

Don Pettit, who mentioned that Christmas is celebrated with food and entertainment, said that they also have canned food to make the holiday look festive.
