The Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church owns many monasteries. 

By God's will, these monasteries, which have been expanding and growing throughout the country since the 5th century, are places where faith, prayer, and salvation can be found. 

It is known that besides providing various services to our church, he was also the source of scholars and many saints.

Besides creating a positive impact in the country's political, economic and social activities, they served as the country's education and civilization centers. Monasteries are the Church's secret chambers and secret records; Monasteries are cities of supplication; Monastics are proud to offer tithes to God. 

Meanwhile, the monasteries of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church have been the direct victims of external and internal campaigns of destruction against the country and the church at various times.

They have been vulnerable to natural problems depending on the topography of the area. It is clear that the church has been fighting against the monasteries from time to time to destroy the way of life, order and tradition of the monasteries. 

Mutansa Mar Saint Michael Unity Monastery located in East Balsa District of Central Gondar Zone is a unique place with more than ninety monastic monks. With the belief of honey that can only be cut from the middle of the rock by the prayers of monks, and a wonderful prayer that heals the sick; It is a holy place where they pray day and night for the world and our country.

According to our repeated calls, your extended hand has done wonders. The residence of the mother nuns has been built in a beautiful and modern condition, and it has also been completed with solar power. For this reason, we would like to say that you will be replaced with more, and that you will be blessed with endless blessings with the hand that you have extended; A grateful heart is the primary characteristic of a believer, so we thank you in the name of the Archangel Michael. 

In terms of the work being done now, although the monastery is not as much as it needs, efforts have been made to provide the best possible service so that they can say "Gan is supported by gravel". Even though we have reached a big milestone, not even half of what was supposed to be done has been completed, so the monasteries would like your donation. As we said above, monastics are proud to offer tithes to God, so let's say we are still standing by them.
