"Addis Ababa, repeated injuries and reduced status on the field have forced me to quit football," said veteran striker Saladin Said.

 

Saladin had his first meeting with Fana Broadcasting Corporation since the news of his retirement from football.

 

Explaining the reason why he quit football, Saladin explained that he decided to quit football because of the health problems he faced with injuries and his poor condition due to his stay.

 

He indicated that he is planning to take a break and spend time with his family.

 

Saladin, who had the opportunity to play in leagues in different countries outside the country, said that there is no difference in terms of player level compared to our country.

He explained that the only difference is that the football sector, which has received attention in other countries, has not received attention in our country.

 

Saladin said that he is a fan of former Ethiopian national team striker Yordanos Abay as well as Sesena Germa and Mululem Gerasa in the middle.

 

Finally, he thanked the coaches, national team and club partners, as well as the entire football family and fans, who contributed to his successful football career.
