The foundation stone was laid for a building that will cost more than 41 million birr to increase students' research and skills.

 

Ylemmi Kura sub-city has laid the foundation stone for the construction of a two-storied building for research and administrative office use for the students of Igget Chora High School.

 

The construction of the building will be fully funded by TNT Construction and Commercial Works and will include a library, laboratory, IT and administrative service offices.

 

The head of the Addis Ababa City Administration Education Office, Dr. Zemal Mulat, who was the guest of honor at the ground-breaking ceremony, said that education is not the responsibility of teachers or a single body. He said that everyone should play their part because ideas are built.

 

On his part, the Chief Executive Officer of Ylemmi Kura sub-city, Ato Tilahun Roba, said that in order to ensure the quality of education, it is very important to build buildings that can help such students to research and create new things, as well as solve administrative problems. They are grateful.

 

Engineer Tesfaye Tilahun, who is the owner and manager of TNT Construction and Business Company, stated that his company is doing such construction works in other sub-districts and expressed that they are happy to leave their mark on this generational construction that will be kept in the history archive.
