Debre Tabor University Graduates 1,240 Students

Debre Tabor University has graduated 1,240 students today in a vibrant ceremony, marking its 12th graduation event across various fields of study.  

 

The Chief Administrator of South Gondar Zone, Debre Tabor University Board Member, and the event’s Guest of Honor, Mr. Tilahun Dejene, attended the graduation ceremony and delivered a speech. He conveyed his message to the graduates, saying, "Congratulations on seeing the fruits of your years of hard work and dedication."  

 

Highlighting the significant role of families in the students’ success, he expressed gratitude to the families who supported their children through various ups and downs to reach this milestone.  

 

In his welcoming and opening remarks, Debre Tabor University President, Dr. Anegagregn Gashaw, urged the graduates to utilize the knowledge and skills they acquired during their time at the university to serve their country with honesty and integrity in their respective fields.  

 

During the event, the renowned poet Solomon Sahle was awarded a Lifetime Ambassador Certificate for his contributions to the field of literature and for his continued professional support alongside the institution moving forward.
