Getachew Gebremichael, a resident of Hawassa, has been doing volunteer work in various areas of the city for one hour and thirty minutes every day for the past several years. 

Hawassa city was widely used as the main transportation option for transportation from place to place when there were not many transportation options as it is today. 

Today's volunteer story is touched by the hardships of the horses, which are often abused, and became the starting point for their volunteer work.  

They have seen cart horses walking down at the whim of their owners, encountering a bumpy road and having difficulty crossing it. 

The horses had difficulty getting in and out of their whiteness, when the carters did not realize that the problem was the road, and the horses beat them badly, pretending that they had been bitten. They felt the pain of the horses go deep into their hearts. This situation inspired their compassionate hearts and they said that they started their volunteer work if they could help the horses. 

They will provide a temporary solution until the government solves the problem permanently by fixing and fixing the holes and damaged areas they find on their way. 

"Even though I don't have money, I am very happy to be able to solve problems with my energy," said Mr. Getachew. You point out that virtue can fill many gaps. 

"Animals are the helpers of human beings. An ox farms and eats. A dog is a human's heart friend. If he stays in your house, he is your godfather; he will protect your property and your house. In the past, the horse went to the battlefield and fell for the sovereignty of the country," they say. 

"I don't understand the value of animals, so I don't understand when we give them the right value. I think this should be fixed," he said. 

When they are asked about the way they apply it on a daily basis and the way they are profiled; "The work is useful for many people, but for me it is like entertainment. Now I have made it an experience and I have made voluntary work a part of my life." 

If citizens work voluntarily on various issues in the area where they are, we will solve many of our social problems.
