Commercial Bank of Ethiopia allocates $122.5 million to its customers

Commercial Bank of Ethiopia is providing a large amount of foreign exchange to its customers to facilitate the country's import trade. 

 

Accordingly, today (i.e. 04/04/2025), the bank announced that it has reviewed all the foreign exchange requests submitted by its customers, totaling 711, up to 31/03/2025, and has allocated a total of $122.5 million to 698 (98%) of the requests submitted. 

 

It also announced that additional information will be processed for the remaining few customers and will be available soon. 

 

The bank also stated that it is ready to provide appropriate responses to our customers' foreign exchange requests in the future.
