The CEO of Ethiopian Airlines Group, Mr. Mesfen Tesue, said that following the attention given to the aviation security sector in recent times, the security situation at airports is better and safer than ever.

They said that although Addis Ababa is vulnerable to security threats due to its geo-political position, it has not faced any danger yet due to the development and special attention given to the development of a culture of collaboration and cooperation among the stakeholders in the sector.

During the visit, he mentioned that he saw that the aviation security sector has reached a good position in terms of organization, operating system, human resources and technology.

Federal Defense Minister Abraham Bai (Dr.) who pointed out that aviation security is one of the key national issues, attended the visit.

The minister pointed out that aviation safety should be fully ensured and done in a way that pleases customers.
