#Ethiopia | Sidama Nation’s New Era Fiche Chembelala Festival concluded peacefully, Sidama Regional Police Commission Commissioner Shimelis Thomas announced.
The Sidama Nation’s New Era Fiche Chembelala Festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Hawassa Soressa Gudumale, with the presence of ministers, various regional heads of state, regional and zone officials, elders, elders, foreign citizens, invited guests from each region, and indigenous people of the nation.
The Fiche Chembelala Festival, which began with the Fiche ceremony on the eve of the ceremony, concluded peacefully, said Shimelis Thomas, Commissioner of the Regional Police Commission.
The Commissioner expressed his gratitude to all the regional security forces, members of the National Defense and Federal Police, national intelligence agencies, and the peace-loving community of the region for their coordinated work day and night to ensure that the festival concluded peacefully.
