470 Ethiopians Return from Saudi Arabia and Oman

The Ministry of Women and Social Affairs announced that 470 Ethiopians who were in difficult situations in Saudi Arabia and Oman have returned to their country.

 

This week, 180 men, 109 women and 13 infants, a total of 302 Ethiopians, returned to the country from Saudi Arabia; 56 of the returnees were minors under the age of eighteen.

 

Similarly, 157 men and 11 women, a total of 168 Ethiopians who were in difficult situations, returned to their country from Oman.

 

It is said that appropriate support and care are being provided to the returnees at the airport and detention centers, as well as work to reunite them with their families.

 

Information received from the Ministry of Women and Social Affairs indicates that 91,420 Ethiopians have been repatriated from Saudi Arabia since April 4, 2016.
