Head of State Desta Ledamo stated that tangible results have been recorded in the works carried out to ensure public benefit in the past years of change in Sidama Region.
The Head of State gave a briefing to the media on current issues.
He said that comprehensive changes are being seen in the works started to ensure the economic and social benefit of the people of the region in the past years of change.
He indicated that the people of the region have been able to benefit in education, health, job creation, livestock development and other sectors.
He mentioned that 300 thousand youths have been able to create job opportunities in rural and urban areas in the past four years.
He also said that 68 packages have been designed and implemented in 8 initiatives to ensure family prosperity.
The President stated in his statement that the government will continue to work with determination towards development, good governance and building a democratic system for the benefit of the people.
