The construction of the Adwa Victory Memorial Center in Addis Ababa has many benefits, said Addis Ababa Culture, Arts and Tourism Bureau Senior Heritage Researcher and Teacher Mekbeb Gebremariam.

He added that the monuments built at the Adwa Victory Memorial are symbols of the Adwa Victory.

He said that the memorial creates memories when tourists visit and reflects the heroism and adventure of our ancestors.

Teacher Mekbeb, who says that Adwa is unity, said that the victory is a symbol of Ethiopians who made great sacrifices for the freedom and honor of the country.

The teacher said that it is a great honor for Ethiopians who participated in patriotism to have their monuments erected; He said that no work of this scale has been done so far.

Many of the veterans who stand in the memorial monument fought, died, and won in the Battle of Adwa; they raised the flag of our country on the world stage, he said.

He said that the victory of Adwa is a story where Ethiopians, without exception, came from all directions, accepted the call of their leader, marched, and achieved a great victory.

Adwa, where we unitedly repelled the fascist Italian army that came to invade our country, and where we honored our sovereignty, is the basis for our today's independence. He said that the way this is expressed in the monuments is also wonderful.

He said that the Adwa Victory Memorial, built in the heart of Addis Ababa, will extend the stay of both domestic and foreign visitors.

Teacher Mekibb, who says that February is the month of victory for Ethiopians; He says that students from primary school should be encouraged to visit the memorial in a coordinated manner so that the next generation can know history and make history.

The reason is that when students learn history, they understand how much sacrifice was made for the country.

The teacher, who says that Ethiopia is a motherland of patriots, mentions that the role of the cavalry in the process of resisting the bombs and fire that the fascist Italian army rained down on them from the sky and the earth was great.

He also recommends that the next generation should use the opportunity created for them to visit the Adwa Victory Memorial so that they can understand the sacrifices their ancestors made to save the country.
