China is set to produce more than a hundred thousand flying vehicles.

 

Ethiopia: China is working to dominate the market by producing more than 100,000 electric vehicles that will fly through the air and connect cities by 2030.

 

China has stated that this initiative is another source of its economic rise. The goal of this endeavor is to enhance urban transportation services with air taxis, cargo drones, and electric aerial vehicles.

 

Companies such as AutoFlight and E-Hang have successfully conducted test flights in Japan, and significant efforts are underway to expand these tests to Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

 

Shenzhen, China's southern technology hub, has pledged to invest 12 billion yuan ($1.7 billion) in infrastructure over the next two years to expand the sector, aiming to become a leader in the air taxi and air transport industry.

 

Shenzhen plans to build more than 1,200 runways and landing areas by 2026 and is working to streamline the air traffic network, logistics, and administrative aspects of in-flight operations.

 

As of the middle of this year, Shenzhen has constructed 249 runways and landing fields and plans to build 147 more by the end of the year.

 

The city’s transportation bureau has stated it plans to complete another 658 facilities by 2025.
