They announced the initiation of a criminal investigation following a tip-off that former board members and leaders of the school were involved in various criminal activities.

Mrs. Tsaga said that the previous board had committed several crimes. He explained that in the course of the investigation, proper investigation is being done to prevent the suspected money from fleeing.

He stated that while the criminal investigation is underway, there is a need to appoint management over the property so as not to cause damage to the school and the community. He also stated that a temporary board has been established in accordance with the Corruption Crimes Special Procedure Law 434/1993.

He said that the new board will be responsible for the Federal High Court's birth category 1 crime.

He announced that the board leaders appointed to the Greek Community School are partners with parents, civil society, the Ministry of Education and the educational process.

He said the interim management board will work to ensure that the school's teaching and learning process is not disrupted, especially that students are not absent from school, the school is not closed, and students and staff are not dispersed.

Ms. Tsaga said that the board will carry out any administrative tasks that were previously performed. He stated that managing the organization according to the responsibilities given by the law, submitting reports to the court every three months, paying fees and collecting revenues will continue the proper management process.
