Addis Ababa, May 9, 2017 (FMC) Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) said that Africa should build artificial intelligence based on continental culture and inclusiveness.

 

The Prime Minister participated in the “Artificial Intelligence for Africa” program, which is being held under the theme “Artificial Intelligence for African Prosperity and Cooperation”.

 

In his message at the forum, Prime Minister Abiy (PhD) emphasized that technological innovation is more than technological change and innovation.

 

He explained that technological innovation is when human intelligence can be connected with advanced technologies.

 

He said that artificial intelligence is being integrated with human capabilities in a way that respects culture.

 

Prime Minister Abiy (Dr.) emphasized that Africa has a lot to do in terms of technological excellence.

 

He noted that artificial intelligence, driven by indigenous innovation, is a viable solution to a wide range of problems facing Africa.

 

He also noted that Ethiopia is becoming a role model in building inclusive and empowering technological enterprises that will inspire other countries.
