Addis Ababa, Ethiopians living in different countries of the world and friends of Ethiopia celebrated the New Year at Ethiopian embassies and consulates in each country.

 

Among the countries where the 2016 New Year is celebrated are the United States, the United Kingdom, Djibouti, the United Arab Emirates, Switzerland, Japan and South Sudan.

 

Ethiopians and friends of Ethiopia celebrated the occasion with various programs in Ethiopian embassies and consulates.

 

The ambassadors who attended the ceremony sent a message of congratulations to all Ethiopians.

 

In particular, the diasporas asked Ethiopia to continue to strengthen its support for the success of the comprehensive development projects it has started in the new year.
