Ethiopia has reportedly completed the work from strategy preparation to tariff publication to implement the African Free Trade Agreement.

Ethiopia, which is one of the first countries to sign the African Free Trade Agreement and ratify it in parliament, has reportedly prepared an implementation strategy that includes issues such as how trade will be carried out? What legal frameworks will govern the process and similar issues.

The Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration’s Executive Director for Communications Affairs, Ato Wondimu Flate, told us that the agreement will begin implementing the agreement in a very short time with an official ceremony.
