TikTok said it will be forced to stop using the app in the US from next Sunday unless the government intervenes before the ban takes effect.

Unless the government intervenes and assures him that he will not be punished for violating the ban, Tik Tok announced that "I will be forced to black out the application tomorrow, Sunday".

It will be recalled that the Supreme Court of the country passed a decision yesterday that TikTok, which has 170 million users, cannot be used in the US unless it is sold by tomorrow.

The idea was that the ban would not affect users who already had TikTok installed on their phones; But once the ban goes into effect, the app will not get any updates and thus the social media will become obsolete over time.

However, in a statement issued by Tik Tok, it indicated that it will immediately stop the service for both existing users and new users who want to download and install the application.
