The Land Bank and Development Corporation announced that it is planning to attract 2 billion dollars of foreign investment.

The corporation announced that it has completed preparations to host an international investment forum on January 18 and 19 under the theme "Invest Origins 2023".

Lensa Mekonon, Director General of the Corporation, told Fana Broadcasting Corporation that on the specified days, foreign investors will be promoted to invest in five different investment options.

He explained that the corporation has prioritized the sectors of housing development, health, education, hospitality and information communication technology that attract investors and create lasting business partnerships.

Mentioning that the forum aims to realize investment options in Ethiopia that ensure the social and economic benefits of the citizens, he said that for this, an environment to work in collaboration with partners of the local and international business community will be facilitated.

They also stated that the corporation was established with the aim of facilitating Ethiopia's journey towards prosperity and improving the lives of its citizens.

Various federal ministries, including the Ministry of Internal Health, and Ethiopian Airlines are partners in the front line supporting the purpose of the corporation, and from the private sector, "OV Group", "Salvatore", "Gift Real Estate" and various consulting firms involved in construction are said to be involved. .

He also mentioned that the created platform will create a favorable environment for sustainable development concepts to flourish in Ethiopia and the ideas to be implemented.

Lensa Mekonen pointed out that investors and international partners from Dubai, Bahrain, Tunisia, Sudan and Kenya have entered Addis Ababa to participate in the "Invest Origins 2023" international investment forum that will be held tomorrow.
