All of us must do what is expected of us for the peace and development of the country, said the Patriarch of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, His Holiness Abune Mathias. 

 

The patriarch stressed that everyone should stop and think about the value of peace. 

 

He also said that human beings can achieve eternal life when they wear good character and fear their creator. 

 

He stressed that all citizens should work together to solve the problems that hinder the peace and development of the country. 

 

Baptism is one of the religious festivals that the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahdo Church celebrates in public.

 

In Addis Ababa, the festival is being celebrated in Jan Meda with various religious activities.
