African Young Women’s Beauty Pageant to be Held in Addis Ababa

#Ethiopia | Addis Ababa Culture, Arts and Tourism Bureau in collaboration with Mahi Event will hold a beauty pageant for African young women in Addis Ababa on Feb 15/2025.

Ato Hunde Kebede, Head of the Tourism Sector of the Addis Ababa Culture, Arts and Tourism Bureau, stated that the bureau is focusing on the tourism sector and in this regard, he stated that the construction of new tourist attractions in our city is creating a great opportunity for tourists visiting the city.

The Head of the Tourism Sector also stated in a press release that the program will create a great opportunity in terms of promoting the tourism destinations of our city and our country.

The founder and CEO of Mahi Event, Ms. Mahlet Geberyouhans, said that this is the first time that a beauty pageant for young African women is being held in Ethiopia and that its aim is to promote Africa’s cultural values, tourism potential and economic status and to promote our city’s tourist destinations.

Ato Henok Belayneh, the General Manager of HBGB Trading, said that the competition is a beauty pageant that will help promote our country’s fashion culture. He said that ten young African women, including Ethiopians, will participate in the competition and that the contestants will visit tourist destinations in our city during their twelve-day stay.
