Those who talk on a mobile phone for 30 minutes or more every week are more vulnerable than those who don't talk - researchers

Talking on a cell phone for 30 minutes or more each week increases the risk of high blood pressure by 12 percent, researchers said.
According to a recent study published by the European Society of Cardiology, people who talk on mobile phones for more than 30 minutes per week are at risk of high blood pressure.
"The number of minutes people spend talking on mobile phones has a significant risk for heart health," said lead author of the study, Professor Xinau Qin of Guangzhou Medical University in southern China.
Three-quarters of the world's population aged 10 and above are mobile phone users. About 1.3 billion adults between the ages of 30 and 79 who use cell phones have high blood pressure.
Cell phones emit low radio frequency energy, which can contribute to high blood pressure. This study focused on the relationship between making and receiving phone calls and new-onset hypertension.
The researchers surveyed 212,046 British adults aged 37 to 73 with no history of high blood pressure and interviewed them about their daily phone use and related issues.
According to the findings of the study, talking on mobile phones for 30 or more minutes per week increases the risk of high blood pressure by 12 percent, according to the Daily Mail report.
It is said that this study also indicated that people who make less phone calls are less likely to suffer from high blood pressure.
In Britain, 14 million people have been diagnosed with high blood pressure, and researchers have added that the radio-active energy found in their phones has a negative impact on blood circulation.
