Former ebs journalist Mekdes Debesay signed a new deal.

#News A delegation led by the Minister of State for Employment and Skills, Ato Solomon Soka, visited the activities carried out by the administration in Wahil Woreda to transition from dependency to productivity

The visit was mainly aimed at supporting and monitoring the activities carried out by the administration to ensure food security. 

 

The support visit will focus on the activities carried out in 5 areas: communication, preparation, purification, coordination and transfer in the efforts to exit dependency. 

? Minister of State for Employment and Skills, Ato Solomon Soka, explained. 

 

In this regard, the Wahil Woreda Administration visited farmers who have been able to change their lives by engaging in vegetable and fruit production, crop production and natural resource conservation to ensure food security. 

 

Minister of State Ato Solomon stated that the efforts being made to achieve self-sufficiency in food security in the Woreda are promising. 

 

He said that in the future, attention should be paid to creating model kebeles free from dependency by using operational methods to increase productivity and sustainably break away from dependency. 

 

The visit was also attended by the Deputy Secretary and Political Sector Officer of the Prosperity Party, Ato Shakir Ahmed, sector leaders and stakeholders.
