Time Center for Maternal, Child Health and Surgery, established by the Alliance of Veteran and Popular Physicians, is officially inaugurated.

#Ethiopia | The medical center was inaugurated on January 4, 2017 in the presence of senior officials of the Ministry of Health.

Dr. Girma Ababi, Chairman of the Board of Time Maternal, Child Health and Surgery Center, said that the center will fulfill its social responsibility by providing free treatment to the needy for 5 consecutive days.

The medical director of the medical center, Dr. Mekonn Negash, said that it is a good opportunity for the graduation ceremony to coincide with the month of healthy motherhood.

On his part, the center's chief executive officer, Dr. Atakalti Negash, promised that the facility would aim to make the patients happy and comfortable.

At the inauguration ceremony, one of the doctors who founded the center, Dr. Belut Farde, was surprised by his patients.

Their baby boy, who had been suffering for a long time, got better with the doctor's long-term efforts.

- Children's specialist Dr. Belet Farde is serving in different responsibilities at the medical center.

The Chief of Staff of the Office of the Minister of Health, Mr. Lelise Emmanuel, who was present at the inauguration ceremony, said that we believe that Time Maternal Child Health and Surgery Center will play its part in supporting the government's direction to reduce maternal mortality.
