Winners of the Grand National Quran Hifz Competition

The Grand National Quran Hifz Competition organized by the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs of Ethiopia under the theme of Quran as a Source of Knowledge and Peace has concluded. 

 

In this grand national Quran Hifz competition, Qari Salahadin Abdurahman, a representative of the Oromia region, came first with a score of 95.06 and was awarded a BWID modern car. 

 

Qari Muhammad Awel Adem, a representative of the Amhara region, came second with a score of 94.28 and was awarded this year's Hajj. 

 

Qari Abdullahi Osman, a representative of the Somali region, came third with a score of 93.466 and was awarded a prize of 300,000 birr. 

 

In the women's category, Hafsaa Keder, a representative of the Amhara region, came first with a score of 93.166 and was awarded a BWID car.

 

Oromia Regional State Representative Qari Sundus Abdurrezak finished second with a score of 84.56 and was awarded 500,000 birr.

 

Somali Regional State Representative Qari Aliya Muhammad Nur finished third with a score of 80.66 and was awarded 300,000 birr, according to information received from the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs of Ethiopia.
