The Ethiopian Productivity Movement Forum is being held in Central Ethiopia Region under the theme "Higher Quality and Productivity Towards a Symbol of Universal Prosperity".

 

The forum was organized by the Central Ethiopia Region Investment and Industrial Development Bureau.

 

The forum was attended by the Regional Governor, Dr. Endeshaw Tassew (Dr.), the Speaker of the Regional Council, Ms. Fateh Sermolo, and other senior regional government officials.

 

The Governor, Dr. Endeshaw Tassew (Dr.) visited the investment projects that have entered production before the discussion forum.

 

He also laid the foundation stone for the Blue Fiber Board Factory to be built in Bui Town, East Gurage Zone, at a cost of 5 billion birr.

 

The factory, which will be built on an area of ​​17.3 hectares, is expected to produce 150,000 cubic meters of wood products per year. 

 

It is also indicated that the factory will create employment opportunities for 1,000 citizens when it starts operating.
