This project, which is one of the two riverfront projects being built in the second phase of Addis Ababa and covers an area of ​​867 hectares, will cover 21.5 kilometers to its destination, Peacock.

 

This huge project will also cover 5 sub-cities and 12 districts.

 

The head of the Addis Ababa City Administration Mayor’s Office and the project coordinator, Tilahun Worku, said that the overall project work has reached 60 percent in 4 months and that a lot of experience has been gained.

 

The project is being carried out to beautify the area with indigenous plants to protect the local ecosystem, said Ato Tilahun; He said that this project is unique in that it combines riverside and corridor development.

 

The project is said to include six different parks and modern shops, entertainment, and shopping centers.
