Ethiopian athletes are expected to win the China Zimen Marathon tomorrow

#Ethiopia | China's Zimen Marathon, which has been awarded platinum status by World Athletics, will be held tomorrow. 

Ethiopian female athletes are expected to win. Ruti Aga is the leading female athlete.

 Her time of 2:18:09 in Dongying last year was the fastest time of any race in China. 

A Tokyo Daegu Marathon winner and Berlin Marathon silver medalist, 30-year-old Ruti used her experience to gain the upper hand to win. 

2015 World Championship winner and 2016 Olympic bronze medalist Mare Dibaba is another athlete to look forward to tomorrow.

 The mare, whose time of 2 hours, 19 minutes, and 52 seconds set the local record when she won the 2015 Zeemen Marathon, is one of the favorites. 

The winner of the 2023 Zimen Marathon, Ababahehu Alemu, is another athlete in waiting. She finished second in the Amsterdam Marathon with a personal best time of 2 hours 19 minutes 50 seconds. 

Gutemi Shone, Dhonnesh Getachew, and Kigwewereta are other Ethiopians who participate in Zimen.

Last year's men's champion Asefa Boki is expected. He finished second in the Amsterdam Marathon last October, clocking 2 hours 06 minutes 40 seconds as his all-time best time. 

David Wolde, who has the experience of many marathons including London, is another expected athlete.

David, who finished third in the 2023 Valencia Marathon with 2 hours, 03 minutes and 48 seconds, is the fastest athlete of all time.

 World Athletics data indicates that Chalu Desona and Melaku are other Ethiopian athletes running in Zimen.
