Mayor Adana Abebe talks with the mayor of Washington DC

 

 Addis Ababa Mayor Adanech Abebe consulted with Washington DC Mayor Muriel Bowser on strengthening bilateral relations between the cities.

 

In their discussion, Mayor Adanech expressed his advice to enable the sisterhood agreement of the cities of Addis Ababa and Washington DC to be put into practice.

 

He said that we have discussed working together on redeveloping the city, better revenue collection and water treatment by ensuring the benefits of residents through integrated development projects built by government and private partnerships.

 

They also stated that they have reached an agreement to work together in transportation and coordinating development works with surrounding cities by collecting and exchanging experiences.

 

The mayor mentioned that they also visited city redevelopment and recycling works.
