Awash Insurance has announced the start of its annual Customer Week celebration.
The program will run for one week, from March 29 to April 4, 2025, across all Awash Insurance and affiliate offices, according to the company.
Awash Insurance stated that this program has been designed to be different from previous Customer Weeks, and it has prepared various gifts for customers visiting the company during this period.
The company announced discounts of up to 25% on various insurance services, including education insurance, employee insurance, fire and lightning insurance, "Mortgage Redemption," and "Individual Life" insurance.
For customers purchasing comprehensive vehicle insurance, those who pay for the mandatory third-party coverage as required by law will receive additional benefits. The property coverage for third-party damages, previously set at 200,000 ETB, will increase to 300,000 ETB, and the third-party death and bodily injury compensation coverage, previously 250,000 ETB, will also rise to 300,000 ETB without additional premium payments.
Both existing and new customers who visit the company’s headquarters, branches, or affiliate offices to purchase insurance services or renew policies will benefit from these offerings, the company said.
Under the theme "We thank you for your trust," the week-long program aims to express gratitude to customers, recognize their loyalty, attract new customers, identify service gaps based on customer feedback, and provide improved services.
Awash Insurance, which has been in the insurance sector for 30 years, stated that it is using various technologies to modernize the services it provides to its customers.
The company, with around 70 branches in Ethiopia, also noted that it serves over 85,000 insurance customers.
