Ethiopian legendary runner Haile Gebresilassie surprised Halima.

A fire in Addis Ababa caused serious damage to property.

 

The Fire and Disaster Risk Management Commission stated that two sheds were destroyed in a fire in Addis Ababa, Addis City, District 12, Lomi Meda area.

 

Ngatu Mamo, Public Relations Officer of the Commission, told Fana Broadcasting Corporation that the property of five sewing associations was seriously damaged in the accident.

 

He pointed out that five fire control vehicles with 69 emergency personnel have been deployed to control the fire.

 

Mr. Ngatu said that the fire spread and was contained without further damage.

 

They pointed out that there were no injuries in the accident that happened at 5:15 in the morning and that it took an hour to control the accident.

 

He said that this manufacturing area, called Lemon Field or Industrial Village, is one of the most vulnerable places in the city and frequent fire incidents.
