Factory costing over 1.25 billion inaugurated

#Ethiopia | A huge formwork factory built by HK Business Group Limited was inaugurated today. 

The formwork factory, which was built and inaugurated in Akaki Qaliti Sub-city of Addis Ababa today in the presence of the Minister of Industry, Honorable Ato Melaku Alebel, aims to meet the high demand for construction formwork in Ethiopia and East Africa. The formwork produced by the factory is made of plastic (Polypropylene) and can be used more than 50 times, according to the inauguration program.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Ms. Kasanesh Ayalew, CEO of HK Business Group, said that the construction of the factory cost more than 1.25 billion birr, and the project was completed in two years, creating permanent and temporary jobs for more than 120 people. 

With a capacity to produce more than 1 million square meters of formwork per year, this factory has the capacity to support all construction projects in Ethiopia and Africa. Ms. Kasanesh Ayalew added that the factory uses modern technology to reduce carbon emissions and that the products produced will contribute significantly to earning foreign exchange and strengthening the Ethiopian economy by exporting them to foreign countries. 

The guest of honor of the day, Honorable Ato Melaku Alebel, Minister of the Federal Ministry of Industry, who attended the inauguration program, said that the inauguration of this factory will mark a major milestone in Ethiopia's industrial development and will be of great importance to the country's economy and environmental protection.
