Following the registration of "Her Ise" as a representative unwritten heritage of humanity by UNESCO, a national level bright program is going to be held in Dredawa.
It is recalled that the 19th meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO on November 23, 2017 in Asuncion, Paraguay approved the registration of Her Essene as a heritage.
Ethiopia, Djibouti and Somalia jointly presented the traditional justice system of the Somali Isa community by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as an intangible cultural heritage. They announced a press conference.
It is stated that the program was jointly prepared by Dredawa administration, Somali National Regional Government, City Heritage Foundation and Heritage Protection Authority.
The program will be held on January 16th and 17th, 2017, and the event will be attended by more than 30,000 people at Dredawa International Stadium.
It was also said that this success was recorded as a heritage that was mainly carried out under the leadership of Ethiopia and was registered as a heritage shared by the three countries.
It was also pointed out that the registration of the Her Ese judicial system as a heritage will help the people of the Horn of Africa countries to create strong cultural ties and friendship.
The program will be attended by senior federal and regional government officials, government representatives of Djibouti and Somali countries, ambassadors of various countries based in Ethiopia, as well as famous personalities.
