Enat Bank has opened a branch named "Emaye" to represent the many Ethiopian mothers who have paid a great price through their motherhood but whose efforts have not been adequately recognized. It has been stated that the new branch called "Emaye" will allow children to organize programs for their mothers free of charge. This new branch, described as unique in its kind, is said to carry out additional related activities alongside banking services. The bank named this branch "Emaye" with the intention of giving a voice to mothers who have sacrificed much but whose contributions have gone largely untold. It was also announced that, including the branch opened today, the total number of Enat Bank branches has reached 207. Additionally, it was mentioned that a space has been prepared at the branch for anyone wishing to conduct studies and research on mothers, and children will be able to organize various programs for their mothers free of charge. On another note, although the "For My Mother" and "Mother of the Year" writing competitions organized by the bank were scheduled to conclude on Tir 30, 2017 E.C. (February 8, 2025), the deadline has been extended by ten days in connection with the opening of the new "Emaye" branch. As a result, those in Addis Ababa who wish to participate in the competition can submit their work at the new branch, while participants in the regions are encouraged to submit their entries at the nearest branch in their area. The "Emaye" branch is located in the new building of the former Addis Ababa University School of Journalism and Communication, next to the Abune Petros Memorial Statue in Piassa.
