Minister of State for Peace Keiredin Tezera (Dr.) stated that peace and nation building is being done in cooperation with the elite. 

 

The discussion forum organized by the Ministry of Peace in cooperation with the Union of Ethiopian Evangelical Churches under the theme "The role of the elite for sustainable peace and nation building" is being held in Adama.

 

Religious leaders, representatives of political parties, elders, representatives of civic organizations and other members of society are participating in the discussion. 

 

Keiredin Tezera (Dr.) said that religious leaders, thought leaders and elites have an important role in realizing a common country for all.

They said. 

 

For this, the minister announced that he is working in cooperation with various sections of the society for peace and nation building. 

 

Pastor Tsadiqu Abdo, president of the Union of Ethiopian Evangelical Churches, said; "Religious elites must do what is required of us to build lasting peace and strengthen the country," according to the information obtained from the ministry.
