The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Ethiopia and Somalia have agreed to work together to make the #AUSSOM mission effective.

 

It has been reported that the Ethiopian delegation headed by the Minister of Defense, Engineer Aisha Mohammed, has made an official visit to Somalia. 

 

According to the information released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the delegation had a productive discussion with the President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud.

From EFDR. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (Dr.) delivered a message to the President. 

"During the discussion, Ethiopia and Somalia confirmed their commitment to work together to ensure peace and stability in Somalia and the region," the minister said.

It has also been reported that recently high officials of Somalia have agreed to visit Addis Ababa to hold talks.

Somalia's Minister of Defense Abdr Qadr Noor Jama; It is said that they have expressed their respect and gratitude for the sacrifices and contributions made by the Ethiopian Defense Forces to ensure the peace of Somalia.
