He also stated that it is not a certificate of registration for traditional medical institutions, but an accreditation license.

A discussion forum was held regarding advertisements related to both modern and traditional medicine. 

At the discussion forum, the general manager of the authority Mrs. Mulumebet Tadese said; Advertisements related to modern or traditional medicine delivery must follow the advertisement decree and guidelines. 

He said that especially cultural medical institutions get a registration certificate from the authority, but the advertisement that they claim to have a certification license should also be certified. 

The general manager said that advertising has its own rules and guidelines. Any advertisement related to treatment and medicine should not be made without the authority's knowledge. 

He pointed out that the advertisements should not be broadcast in the form of news or programs; They announced that the transmission of advertisements related to medicine is prohibited. 

Remember that it is not possible to present testimonials of clients who have received medical services in the form of advertisements; Inappropriate advertisements related to hair transplants and dental treatments are also observed. 

It was pointed out that there are only 93 traditional medical institutions registered in Addis Ababa city.
