Dr. Mekdes Daba Celebrates Easter with Patients

Minister of Health Dr. Mekdes Daba celebrated Easter with health professionals and patients at St. Peter's Specialized Hospital.
Dr. Mekdes encouraged health professionals and presented gifts to patients.
The Minister said that the health profession is a profession dedicated to serving the community.
She also stated that in addition to improving the services provided to the community, plans are being made to meaningfully change the lives of health professionals.
Similarly, Dr. Mekdes Daba, along with other ministry leaders, attended Mary Joy Ethiopia and shared a meal and conveyed a message of congratulations.
The Minister donated a modern ultrasound machine worth 4 million birr to Mary Joy Ethiopia.
Mary Joy Ethiopia thanked the Ministry of Health for its work in supporting orphans and the elderly from the very beginning, as well as for its role model in helping them to become independent and help others.
Sister Zebider Zewde, Founder and Executive Director of Mary Joy Ethiopia, thanked the Minister for the support of the ultrasound machine, saying that the device will enable them to provide timely diagnostic services.
Mary Joy Ethiopia is providing essential care to more than 4,000 orphans and the elderly at its Arada Giorgis center and more than 67,000 at the national level, according to information received from the Ministry of Health.
