Minister of Foreign Affairs Gideon Timoteos (Dr.) stated that efforts should be made to further strengthen the relationship between Ethiopia and the Czech Republic. 

 

The Minister of Foreign Affairs held talks with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Marian Juresca.

 

The foreign minister also announced that the two countries will work to further increase their cooperation in the fields of industry, trade, investment, water and energy, manufacturing and defense industry. 

 

He also mentioned that the relations between the countries are centuries old and based on meaningful partnership. 

 

Deputy Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Marian Jureska, on the other hand; He pointed out that during his stay in Ethiopia, work was done to strengthen the economic relations between the countries. 

 

The information obtained from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicates that Ethiopia is a key partner of the Czech Republic in Africa and that the country will pay special attention to its relations with Ethiopia.
