Ambassador Benalf Andualem Arrives in Washington, DC.

(January 27, 2017) Ambassador Benalf Andualem, who has been appointed as the Special Envoy and Ambassador Plenipotentiary of Ethiopia to the United States, arrived in Washington, DC today. Upon his arrival at Dallas Airport in Washington, DC, the Ambassador was welcomed by a representative of the US State Department, as well as diplomats and staff of the Embassy. On the same day, the Ambassador met with diplomats and staff of the Mission at a reception held at the Ambassador’s residence.

 

The E.F.D.R. The Speaker of the House of Representatives, His Excellency Ato Tagesse Chafom, also attended the reception and wished His Excellency Ambassador Benalf Andualem a successful tenure. 

 

Meanwhile, a farewell was given to the returning diplomats of the Embassy. 

 

His Excellency Ambassador Benalf Andualem, for his part, thanked the staff of the Mission for the warm welcome they extended to him. He expressed his hope that they will continue to carry out successful work during their future stays and wished the returning diplomats, who will be completing their term of office that day, a successful future in their future missions.
