More than half a billion birr raised for Macedonia

The total amount of support collected through the direct fundraising program of the Macedonia Center for the Elderly and Mentally Ill has reached more than 521 million birr.

 

More than 18 million birr was raised in the fundraising program held last night, and more than half a billion birr has been raised since it began.

 

Ethiopians living in the country and abroad are strongly participating in the fundraising program.

 

In the program, Mrs. Tsegaye, who donated her childhood gold finger ring, necklace and bracelets to the Macedonia Center for the Elderly and Mentally Ill, has gathered the hearts of many for support.

 

Ms. Imebet, who used to live in the business of selling and selling silk, said that she decided to give to those who do not have it.

 

Ms. Imebet, who said that helping Macedonia is like helping one's own family, said that we all have a responsibility to help with everything we have.

 

The founder of the center, Binyamin Beliko, who thanked Ms. Imebet for her legacy, said that we should learn from this by donating to those who have it.
