583 students graduated
#Ethiopia St. Paul's Hospital Millennium Medical College graduated 583 undergraduate and postgraduate doctors today.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Minister of Planning and Development, Dr. Perth Asfa, the Minister of State for Health, Dr. Derje Dgumana and other guests.
Graduated in subspecialty, nursing specialty, public health, and other fields.
According to the Provost of the college, Dr. Sisay Sergu; St. Paul's Hospital Millennium Medical College is working to provide quality health services, to produce qualified health professionals, by conducting problem-solving researches alongside teaching, so that the medical treatment is modernized and competitive at the international level.
Dr. Sisay stated that the college is working to modernize the medical sector by training medical professionals through 35 training programs.
He mentioned that seven of the training programs were started this year and he said that he will continue to conduct research to make health services accessible.
Dr. Sisay called on the graduates to carry out their professional responsibilities by expressing the knowledge they have acquired in the college.
The college graduated 395 in medicine, 78 in public health, 110 in nursing, for a total of 583, of which 185 were women.
It is stated that all 151 of the graduates passed the national exit exam with high scores.
