Trump is going to temporarily allow TikTok to continue operating in the US.

 

President-elect Donald Trump published an article on his truth page today; TikTok has announced that it will continue operating in the US temporarily.

 

For this, on the first day of their tenure (which means tomorrow), they will take action / issue a special order to allow TikTok to continue working temporarily.

 

In the same article, Trump suggested that America should own half (50%) of the social network.

 

"I don't want Tik Tok to go dark," they said after going to the office tomorrow and starting work.

 

Trump proposed that the US take a 50% ownership stake in TikTok as part of a joint venture.

 

This could mean a partnership between parent company ByteDance or new owners "between America and its chosen acquisition."

 

"By doing this, we're going to save TikTok, we're going to keep it in good hands," Trump said.

 

"There is no TikTok without US permission," Trump wrote.

 

It is remembered that Tik Tok said in the past, "I would rather close down and leave the US than sell it."
