Sinke Bank is organizing Iftar programs for its customers in Adama, Jimma, Dire Dawa and Shashemene cities, where it is providing complete interest-free banking services on the occasion of the 1446th great Ramadan fast.

 

More than 600 followers of the faith are attending the programs; the bank's president, Ato Nway Megersa, Islamic religious leaders and senior government officials are also participating.

 

Sinke Bank is expanding interest-free banking services not only at the banking level but also in the microfinance sector, as was announced at a similar program held in Adama yesterday.

 

It was also revealed that the bank has managed to attract more than 750 thousand customers in the interest-free banking sector in just a few years and has collected more than 4 billion birr in deposits in the sector.
