Fenan Hidru celebrated her bridal shower with the presence of her friends. Fellow artists attended the program which was labeled as expensive or extravagant or luxurious according some comments.

It was a great event what we understood from the few videos released today. She was at the center stage where she was joined by best artists of the country in Selam Tesfaye, Ruth’s Mengsteab, Shewit Kebede, Martha Goytom, and others.

The Amhara Regional Council concluded its 11th regular session today by approving the appointments listed below.

1. Ahmedin Muhammad (PhD): Deputy Head of the Amhara Regional State Urban Development Sector Coordinator

2. Adere Sahlu (PhD): Deputy Head of the Amhara Regional State Rural Development Sector Coordinator

3. Mulunesh Dessie (PhD): Deputy Head of the Amhara Regional State Social Sector Coordinator

4. Amanuel Ferede (PhD): Deputy Head of the Amhara Regional State Administrative Sector Coordinator

5. Mengesha Fentaw (PhD): Head of the Amhara Regional State Revenue Bureau

6. Dereje Mandefro: Head of the Amhara Regional State Agriculture Bureau

7. Tilahun Workneh: Head of the Amhara Regional State Education Bureau

8. Mola Melkamu (PhD): Head of the Amhara Regional State City and Infrastructure Development Bureau

9. Engineer Danous Fenta (PhD): Amhara Regional State Water and Energy Bureau Head

10. Atalay Tilahun: Head of Amhara Regional Finance Bureau

11. Gashaw Mushe (PhD): Head of Amhara Regional Animal and Fisheries Development Bureau

12. Eshetu Yousuf (PhD): Head of Amhara Regional Peace and Security Bureau

13. Abay Megerte: Head of Amhara Regional Communication Bureau

In addition, the council approved the appointment of 174 district court judges; 33 of the appointed judges are women.

During the two-day session, the council reviewed the activities carried out in the regional education sector during the fiscal year and the audit reports of the regional auditor general.

It also approved various draft proclamations, including the determination of the regional project management and leadership system, excise tax reform, government employee administration reform, and rural land management and utilization reform.
