In order to avoid the corruption in the transport sector, it is necessary to work with the help of advanced technology, said Transport Minister State Berho Hasan.

The Ministry of Transport and Logistics, in collaboration with the Addis Ababa City Administration Transport Office, has prepared a platform for regions to learn about the delivery of transport services, the use of technology and other activities in Addis Ababa.

The Minister of State for Transport Berho Hassan and other officials of the Federal and State Transport Bureau were present at the forum.

The Minister of State raised in the forum that as the transport sector is the main base of the country's economy, it should be given more attention than before.

As one of the focus areas of the macroeconomic reform is the transport sector, it is said that it is being done in a convenient and modern way that will benefit the citizens in the 10-year master plan.

The transportation office of the city administration has stated that it is working to make the terminals, parking spaces and public transportation services in the city comfortable and modern.

It was also pointed out that various transport infrastructures including the development of the corridor will be visited during the three-day program.
