Participants of the 2nd East African Arts and Culture Festival arrive in Addis Ababa

Djibouti’s Minister of Youth and Culture, Dr. Hubo Momin Asoweh, Somalia’s Minister of Culture and Information, Daoud Awis Jama, Burundi’s Minister of Community Affairs, Youth, Sports and Culture, Gervais Amb Abayho, and Democratic Republic of Congo’s representative, Yolande Ilebe Ma Ndembo, have arrived in Addis Ababa to participate in the 2nd East African Arts and Culture Festival hosted by Ethiopia. 

 

Earlier, South Sudan’s Minister of Cultural Museums and National Heritage, Dr. Nadia Arop Dud Mayo, Tanzania’s Minister of Information, Culture, Arts and Sports, Professor Palamagampa John Edan Mwaluko, Rwanda’s Minister of Youth and Arts, Dr. Utumatwishma Jane Nepo Abdallah, and Uganda’s State Minister of Gender, Culture and Social Development, Mr. Asamohelen Grace, arrived in Addis Ababa. 

 

The Minister of Culture and Sports, Ms. Shewit Shanka, received the guests at the Bole International Airport, according to information received from the ministry.
